We at Meningitis Angels are a group of parents of Heaven and Earth Bound Angels, and individuals who wish to protect others from the tragedy of this disease. WE ARE NOT PHYSICIANS. It is the intention of Meningitis Angels to educate on bacterial meningitis and preventatives, and assist qualifying victims with a net work of services. We strongly advise you to speak to your family physician, pediatrician, or local health departments about all vaccinations, including Menomune and Prevnar to see if it is safe and right for you are your child to take.
Meningitis Angels works on a basis of available funds. These funds are provided by donation, private, corporate sponsors and etc. Some services are available now and more should be available by the end of 2004.
The age group of resources and funding is infant to 24 years of age. However support chat and web site is open to all ages.
Networking and informational help is also available to all ages.
We have only
just begun and funds are very low.
However, if you need help, go ahead and get on our waiting list for service
by filling out the application for service.
All
messages, and chat rooms, and web site. are monitored closely. However, the
organization is not responsible for any political views, profanity or
information given from individuals regarding their personal information
All assistance is given upon board approval and must meet the guide lines of the organization.
Assistance with a funeral, NOTE!! Meningitis Angels should be contacted prior to arrangements being made. Contacting us afterwards may limit or prevent our ability to help you.
